Choir Of The Year 2014: Cardiff's CF1 wins title

A choir from Cardiff has become the first from Wales to win the title of Choir of the Year.

Around 150 singing groups from across Britain entered the amateur competition with six making it through to the final in Manchester.

The 60-strong CF1 choir started off as a youth ensemble but since 2008 has been all adults.

Meanwhile, the children's category was won by the Ysgol Glanaethwy Junior Choir from Bangor, Gwynedd.

Here is an extract of the CF1 performance - and members' reaction to the news they had won.

Highlights of the final will be shown on BBC Four on Friday 12 December at 19:30 GMT and on BBC Radio 3's 'The Choir' on Sunday 14 December at 16.00 GMT.
