Isaac Nash inquest: Coroner says schoolboy probably drowned

A schoolboy was swept out to sea by waves despite desperate efforts by family members to save him, an inquest has heard.

Isaac Nash, 12, from Huddersfield, was on holiday when he got into difficulty at Aberffraw on Anglesey last August.

His brother Xander was saved by his father but Isaac could not be rescued, the hearing at Llangefni was told.

Coroner Dewi Pritchard Jones recorded a conclusion of misadventure and said Isaac probably drowned.

Roger Pinney reports.
