Pride film wins Bafta debut prize

The miners' strike film Pride has won the outstanding debut prize at the British Film Awards.

It is based on the story of a group of gay and lesbian activists who travel to a south Wales' community during the 1984 strike to offer their support to the striking colliers.

Writer Stephen Beresford spoke about the long wait to bring the tale to the screen.
