PM's tribute to outgoing Plaid Cymru parliamentary leader Elfyn Llwyd

David Cameron has paid tribute to Plaid Cymru's parliamentary leader Elfyn Llwyd, who is standing down at the general election in May.

During Prime Minister's Questions, Mr Cameron said Mr Llwyd had made "very passionate speeches" on issues such as the Iraq war and civil liberties.

The prime minister added that Mr Llwyd, MP for Dwyfor Meirionydd, would be "missed by everyone".

Mr Llwyd was first elected at the 1992 general election.
