'Amazing potential' for old Llanelli rail hub

A project to transform a derelict railway shed into an arts centre and community hub "could do so many things" for Llanelli, volunteers have said.

Built in 1875, the Railway Goods Shed played a key part in the Carmarthenshire town's industrial heritage.

Now a team of rail enthusiasts have been granted planning permission to transform it into a cultural hub.

Project manager Robert Lloyd told BBC Wales' Newyddion 9 programme the building's potential impact on the community was "amazing".
