Iron Maiden star's business is flying

The rock star chairman of a plane maintenance firm says they are close to signing a multi million pound deal with an overseas investor.

Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson says the deal could be worth up to £15m and would treble staff numbers.

Cardiff Aviation has this week seen the arrival of two Boeing 767 aircrafts for repair and maintenance - and it is being described as great news for the aeronautical engineering industry in south Wales.

The company is also in negations with two airlines for new 747 pilots to be trained at Cardiff Aviation's simulator.
