Nathan Gill is rarely in the assembly, says Plaid AM

UKIP MEP and independent AM Nathan Gill is so rarely in the assembly that one staff member of the institution uses his parking space, Plaid Cymru AM Llyr Gruffydd has claimed.

He has accused his fellow North Wales regional member of betraying voters by not turning up to assembly proceedings.

Mr Gruffydd has written to the assembly's presiding officer calling for measures to monitor poor attendance by AMs.

Mr Gill has not responded to requests to comment on the letter.
