Burnt fox cub rescued after grass fire in Mountain Ash

A badly burnt fox cub has been rescued from a deliberate grass fire in Mountain Ash after being found close to the bodies of other cubs.

Gavin Thomas found the animal while out walking his dogs and took it to the RSPCA for treatment.

RSPCA Insp Gemma Cooper said the cub had been "lucky" to survive the blaze.
