Gleision mining tragedy remembered one year on

Saturday marks the first anniversary of the Gleision pit tragedy in the Swansea Valley.

Four men died despite desperate efforts by teams of rescuers forcing their way through narrow, flooded tunnels.

A fund set up for the families of the miners who died exceeded £1m.

Peter Johnson of BBC Radio Wales spoke to Neath MP Peter Hain and the Reverend Peter Lewis who supported families at the local community centre.
