Deadly landslide hits Colombia

A landslide in south-western Colombia, triggered by weeks of heavy rains, has killed at least 12 people and injured 30, officials say.

Several houses and a bar have been buried in the township of La Cruz in the Narino region.

The country is enduring its rainiest season in 40 years, and authorities say more than 280 people have died in landslides and floods this year alone.
