Chinese dissident Liao Yi-wu takes refuge in Germany

The Chinese writer Liao Yi-wu has gone into exile in Germany, saying authorities in his country have forbidden him from publishing his work.

Mr Liao first came to prominence with a poem against China's 1989 crackdown on democracy protests, which resulted in him receiving a four-year prison sentence.
