Liberal alliance 'leads' in Libya polls

Unofficial early results from the Libyan elections suggest that the country is bucking the Arab Spring trend of voting in Islamists, following the overthrow of a dictator.

Final results could still be days away but partial counts from Libya's biggest cities suggest early success for the liberal alliance, led by former rebel leader Mahmoud Jibril, at the expense of the Muslim Brotherhood.
