Turkey: Protesters build Gezi Park barricades

Bulldozers have moved into Taksim Square to clear away debris, barricades and makeshift shelters after Turkish riot police used tear gas to disperse thousands of anti-government demonstrators.

Some demonstrators have now barricaded themselves in at nearby Gezi Park.

James Reynolds reports from Taksim Square.
