Italy police swoop on Mafia families

Police in Italy have arrested more than a hundred people across the country in a major operation against the mafia.

About 500 police officers, backed by dog units, a helicopter and coastal patrol boats were involved.

Leading members of two mafia families are reported to be among those detained.
