Bus blast hits Kenya's capital

At least one person has been killed and 26 people have been hurt by a bomb explosion at a bus station in Kenya's capital, Nairobi.

The bus was bound for Kampala in neighbouring Uganda. According to police the person who died was carrying a bag which contained the bomb.

One of the passengers told of the moments before the blast went off.

Caroline Nduta, an emergency medical technician at the scene, said some patients had already been taken to hospital when she arrived.
