Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan vows fair elections

Nigeria's President, Goodluck Jonathan has been speaking for the first time about the controversy surrounding the country's chaotic elections on Saturday.

Voting had to be abandoned because basic paperwork did not reach huge swathes of the country on time.

In an exclusive interview with the BBC's Caroline Duffield, he vowed that despite delays, elections would be held that were free and fair.
