Kenya: 'The fire was so spontaneous'

Dozens of Kenyans have been killed in a fire at a fuel pipeline in a Nairobi slum.

Flames engulfed the makeshift homes, incinerating the occupants.

A local council official says more than 100 people have been hospitalised and the number of dead is likely to rise.

Firefighter Boniface Ruto told BBC Africa's reporter Hassan Lali that many bodies were also found in the nearby river.
