Laurent Gbagbo faces International Criminal Court

The former president of Ivory Coast, Laurent Gbagbo, is due to make an initial appearance before the International Criminal Court at The Hague.

He is accused of crimes against humanity that include murder, rape and persecution.

It is alleged the offences were committed in the wake of his country's disputed presidential elections a year ago. Peter Biles reports.
