Ivory Coast vote sees low turnout

There has been a low turnout in the first parliamentary elections in Ivory Coast since a presidential vote sparked violence a year ago.

The election, in which five million people were eligible to vote, was boycotted by Laurent Gbagbo's Ivorian Popular Front party.

Mr Gbagbo's refusal to step down set off last year's unrest, and he faces charges of crimes against humanity at the International Criminal Court (ICC).

John James reports from Abidjan.
