UN deploys more troops to South Sudan over cattle stealing

The United Nations has deployed more troops to a town in South Sudan to try to prevent further clashes between two rival tribes.

Around 1,000 people have already been killed since disagreements between the two erupted a few months ago.

Some 6,000 armed members of the Nuer tribe are thought to be marching on the town of Pibor in a dispute which began with allegations of cattle stealing.

Bill Hayton reports.
