Clashes at a Democratic Alliance march against Cosatu

There have been clashes at a protest staged by South Africa's main opposition, the Democratic Alliance, outside the headquarters of the country's trade union federation, Cosatu.

DA leader Helen Zille says she is angry at Cosatu's opposition to a proposed subsidy on jobs for young workers.

South African police fired tear gas after the two sides clashed.

Just after the protest Ms Zille told BBC Africa's Kasim Kayira what she had seen.
