Kenyan girl's dangerous journey to school

When world champion 10,000m runner Linet Masai and her brother Moses attended the Bishop Okiring Secondary School in Mount Elgon, Kenya, they used to run the long distance up the dirt tracks from their village to get to their lessons.

It is one of the factors that made them both champion runners.

Susan Kapkarich goes to the same school.

Like the Masai she also has to make extraordinary efforts to get to her lessons every day - risking extreme weather and even attack from wild animals in a journey that takes up to two hours each day.
