African Dream - Ethiopia's Bethlehem Tilahun Alemu

As part of the BBC's African Dream series, Bethlehem Tilahun Alemu explains how she founded the footwear company SoleRebels in 2004 in Zenabwork, the poor community in the outskirts of Addis Ababa where she was born.

The company - which makes shoes out of recycled materials - is now one of Ethiopia's most thriving businesses with sales in 55 countries across the world.

African Dream is broadcast on the BBC Network Africa programme every Monday morning, and on BBC World News throughout the day on Fridays
