Libya: Rival militia spray bullets and grenades in Tripoli

Libya's two largest cities have been rocked by violence. A car blast in Benghazi injured four police officers, while rival armed groups battled for more than 12 hours in the capital, Tripoli.

Despite largely peaceful elections in July, Libya's transition continues to be affected by instability.
