The Rwandan genocide: 100 days

Between April and July 1994, an estimated 800,000 Rwandans were killed in the space of 100 days.

Most of the dead were Tutsis, and most of the perpetrators were Hutus.

By the time the killing ended in mid-July, an estimated one in 10 Rwandans was dead.
