Ebola crisis: Mali steps up precautions

Malians quarantined after coming into contact with a two-year-old girl who died of Ebola are nearing the end of their incubation period.

More than 100 people are in quarantine in the capital, Bamako, and in the Western town of Kayes, where the girl travelled to by bus.

Authorities say no-one has shown symptoms of the disease so far but they are remaining vigilant - a number of passengers on the bus have yet to be identified.

Anne Soy reports from Bamako.
