Kenya security bill: Footage of scuffles in parliament

Kenyan lawmakers traded blows, and one had his shirt torn, amid a chaotic parliamentary session called to push through a tough new security bill.

Opposition MPs shouted, sang and shredded copies of the bill, warning that Kenya was becoming a "police state".

Four lawmakers were assaulted in one incident and two of them engaged in a fist-fight in another.

The speaker was forced to adjourn the debate for several hours before it resumed.
