Durban rally held to address xenophobic attacks

A rally has been held in the South African city of Durban to address the violent attacks on foreigners in the country.

Zulu King Goodwill Zwelithini addressed a crowd of thousands as he called for an end to the violence.

The king said reports which said he had called for foreigners to "go back to their countries" were distorted.

He has been accused of fuelling attacks in which at least seven people died.

Karen Allen reports.
