Can South Africa's male hostels survive?

The traditional male hostel in South Africa could soon be a thing of the past.

After weeks of recent xenophobic attacks, South African soldiers and police have conducted a series of raids on these hostels in an effort to curb attacks on foreign nationals.

Police believe those who carried out these attacks live in hostels around Johannesburg and Durban as Nomsa Maseko reports.
