Ending extreme poverty in Africa

The UN Secretary-General is releasing a report into the Millennium Development Goals on Monday.

It says the world is making progress on ending extreme poverty, with child mortality declining and more children in school.

So-called Millennium Villages were set up across Africa to help drive development.

Mike Wooldridge, who has reported from Africa for more than 30 years has returned to one of the villages, Ruhiira in Uganda, to see what impact the scheme has made.
