Rescuing animals abandoned in Fukushima's exclusion zone

It has been nearly a year since authorities ordered the evacuation of the population around the Fukushima nuclear plant after a massive earthquake and tsunami struck Japan.

Amid the confusion, livestock and much-loved pets had to be left behind.

Many animals perished but some survived and now efforts are under way to rescue them.
