Floods continue to threaten parts of Australia

Floods are continuing to threaten parts of eastern Australia.

Thousands of people have been evacuated from their homes in southern Queensland.

Water levels in the town of St George are expected to hit a peak on Tuesday.

It is the third major flood in the area in less than two years.

Emergency Services Minister Neil Roberts spoke to BBC News from Brisbane.
