Prolonged rain causes floods havoc in Sri Lanka

After a week of heavy downpours, the island nation of Sri Lanka is reeling from heavy flooding.

Forty-two people have died and tens of thousands have been forced to evacuate their homes.

The worst-hit areas are in the central and eastern areas of the country. Lucas de Jong reports.
