Bangladesh PM says party has 'support' of people

The prime minister of Bangladesh has spoken for the first time after a violent election-day.

Sheikh Hasina says she believes her party has the support of the people of Bangladesh.

It comes after the main opposition boycotted the election, resulting in violent clashes at polling stations and extremely low voter turnout.

Mahfuz Sadique reports from Dhaka.
