Australia defence minister: Plane search 'massive logistical exercise'

Australia's Minister for Defence David Johnston has said he is "confident" in Malaysia's assessment that the plane ended its journey in the southern Indian Ocean "because that's the best we've got in this point in time".

Mr Johnson was speaking to reporters in Perth after the search effort was suspended because of bad weather.

Mr Johnston said international cooperation in the search efforts would continue.
