The political sway of Myanmar's Ma Ba Tha monks

A group of activist monks are set to play a pivotal role in Myanmar's first properly contested election in 25 years.

The monks of the Ma Ba Tha say they are protecting the Buddhist religion and have attracted large crowds.

Many have accused them of inciting violence against Muslims.
