Kabul attack 'retaliation for Kunduz' says Taliban

The Taliban has claimed responsibility for attacking a UK military convoy in the Afghan capital, Kabul, saying it was retaliation for air strikes in Kunduz.

The Taliban did not specifically mention Medecins Sans Frontieres whose hospital in Kunduz was hit by US airstrikes eight days ago.

Sunday's attack took place in a residential area and injured seven people. There were no British casualties, the MoD said.
