Taiwan quake: Rescue mission continues into the night

Rescue efforts in Taiwan are continuing, as more than 100 people are still missing following an earthquake which toppled buildings in the city of Tainan, killing at least 11 people.

The magnitude 6.4 quake struck just before 04:00 on Saturday (20:00 GMT Friday) when most people were at home asleep.

Fourteen people are known to have died, with more than 500 injured.

The main search is focused on the ruins of a 17-storey block of flats.
