Former Afghan refugee Shaesta Waiz flies solo around the world

Shaesta Waiz, 29, was born in an Afghan refugee camp and travelled with her family to the US in 1987 to escape the Soviet-Afghan war.

She is the first female certified civilian pilot from Afghanistan and is now flying around the world to inspire other young women to follow their dreams.
