'Poignant' orangutan image wins top National Geographic prize

This image of an orangutan in Borneo beat 11,000 entrants to win the grand prize in National Geographic's Nature Photographer of the Year contest.

Singapore-based photographer Jayaprakash Bojan told the BBC's Newsday how he captured the shot and why it is so unusual.
