Hostages escape after Philippines bus hijack
Police in the Philippines have boarded a hijacked bus and begun to rescue hostages in what appears to be the end of a day-long siege.
TV images showed hostages, mostly Chinese tourists, leaving the vehicle. However, at least one body could be seen at the front of the bus.
It is not yet clear what has happened to the gunman, a former policeman who seized the bus early on Monday morning. The BBC's Adam Mynott explains what is known.
