Indonesia volcano 'could erupt any time'

An eruption by the Indonesian volcano Mount Merapi has left 25 people dead, with thousands homeless after having to flee their homes.

Rescuers have begun searching for survivors in Kinahrejo village, where houses have been left covered in ash.

The BBC's Rachel Harvey in Yogyakarta says vulcanologists are warning that although Merapi is currently relatively quiet, it could errupt at any time.
