Australian towns evacuated as floods continue

Flooding in north-eastern Australia has forced residents to evacuate towns and closed down hundreds of roads.

The state government of Queensland has declared several areas disaster zones. The Australian Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, has praised the help of volunteers.
