Christchurch quake victims rescued from the rubble

New Zealand has declared a national state of emergency following the devastating earthquake which struck the city of Christchurch yesterday.

The number of people known to have died stands at 75 but 300 are still missing.

The BBC's correspondent Nick Bryant reports from Christchurch
