Human cost of disaster rising in Japan

The number of people dead or missing in Japan continues to rise after last week's devastating earthquake and tsunami.

The national police agency says nearly 7,200 people are confirmed dead.

Nearly 11,000 others are listed as missing.

Roland Buerk, the BBC's correspondent in Osaka, reports on the human cost of the disaster.
