Japan: Silence to mark one month since earthquake

People in Minamisanriku and across Japan have fallen silent to mark one month since the devastating earthquake and tsunami.

A siren sounded at the same time that the quake hit at 1446 (0546 GMT) and survivors marked the moment with bowed heads and a minute of quiet.
