Former Khmer Rouge leaders in first tribunal hearing

A UN-backed tribunal in Cambodia has held its first hearing in the trial of four former top Khmer Rouge leaders.

The four defendants, Nuon Chea, Khieu Samphan, Ieng Sary and Ieng Thirith, are accused of genocide and crimes against humanity over the deaths of up to 2 million Cambodians in 1975-79.

Guy Delauney reports from Phnom Penh.
