Australia: Five arrested in counter-terrorism operation

Police in the Australian state of Victoria say they've arrested five men after a major counter-terrorism operation in the city of Melbourne.

Two of the men, both aged 18, were arrested on suspicion of planning terrorist acts, including targeting police officers at an Anzac Day event in the city.

Acting deputy commissioner Neil Gaughan of the Australian Federal Police gave details of the arrests.
