Australia election: The long wait for a winner

Australia will not know the result of its federal election for days as counting in tight seats continues.

Most of the votes have been counted in Australia's general election but the result is still too close to call, meaning that Australians will not know who will lead the country for a number of days.

So how can an election result take so long to be declared? Tom Donkin explains.
