Australia same-sex marriage: 'We don't want any fuss'

Australia's House of Representatives will debate legalising same-sex marriage this week, days after a bill sailed through the Senate.

For some long-time couples, the expected approval of the law will prompt immediate wedding plans.

But for others, marriage is not as necessary - or no longer possible with the partner they have loved.
